Pocket hole joinery is a fast and easy way to making strong und hidden joints for solid wooden carcass frames, trims, angular constructions, frames for tabletops etc.
As a first step, you drill the number of pocket holes needed into the main workpiece using the jig. The mating workpiece is fixed with the self-tapping screws through the drilled holes. This avoids many alignment problems caused by having to lay out and drill the mating workpiece, for example when aligning fasteners like dowels. Unlike spline joints, the workpieces are fixed quickly and can be detached.
Supplied as a kit with extraction outlet, portable plate, jig clamp, 1000 Torx screws in assorted storage box, specially designed M2 spiral drill bit, depth adjustment collar and long T20 bit.
