Description

NANIWA - Single grit, Japanese made, waterstones which are less susceptible to cupping than natural stones or similar brands of Japanese synthetic stones.

These stones are an ideal choice for sharpening extremely hard, high carbon, low alloy steels such as Japanese blue and white paper steels. The abrasive is white aluminium oxide. Soak for 10 minutes or so before use, do not store in water between uses.
