This planes adopts a more modern, ready for use method with replacebale HSS blades adjusted by screws in the plane body. The cutters neatly fit into a recess in the back of the heavy, vibration-absorbing blade and will produce first class surface finishes even when working with knotty wood and difficult grain patterns.
