A form of touch latch specifically for flush-face drawers.

It works like a ballpoint pen: push the drawer in about 1/16" (1.5mm) and the latch releases 12 lb (5kg) of force to open the drawer. As the drawer is closed, it automatically resets the latch. Adjustable over a 3/4" (19mm) range from 2" to 2 3/4" (50~70mm). Less space is required if it is mounted through the drawer back.
