HEADS MATERIAL & FINISH -  Series #435 heads are CAST IRON with a BLACK WRINKLE FINISH and #434 series have FORGED STEEL SQUARE and CENTER heads and a SMOOTH PAINTED BLACK finish.

Square heads have a fixed 90 degree. a 45 degree mitre and are fitted with a level vial and hardened point scriber.

Protractor heads have direct reading double 180 Deg protractor scale and are fitted with a level vial.

BLADES - All have SATIN CHROME HIGH READABILITY precision machined and deep etched blades. M series Metric blades have full and 1/2 millimetre graduations both sides. ME series blades have one side metric and the other side with either 16R: Quick Reading 32nds, 64ths, Aircraft Quick Reading 50ths, 100ths or 4R: 8ths, 16ths, Quick Reading 32nds, 64ths
